Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Tyfonic Systems, the company that owns and operates Matrilyze ("Matrilyze," "we," "us," or "our"), a platform that gives matrimony service providers ("Operators") the website, API, and admin tools to run their own matchmaking service for their community ("Members"). By creating an account, provisioning a workspace, or otherwise using Matrilyze, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Operators, Members, and Matrilyze

Matrilyze provides the infrastructure; it is not itself a matrimony service. Each Operator provisions an independent tenant workspace — a branded website and, if they choose, API access — and is responsible for the community they build on it, including its content, matching rules, and eligibility criteria. Members interact with an Operator's workspace, not with Matrilyze directly, though Matrilyze processes the underlying data on the Operator's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. Obligations in these Terms that concern the platform as a whole apply to everyone; obligations specific to a workspace are the Operator's to set and enforce for their own Members, typically in their own published terms and privacy notice.

2. Eligibility

To create an account, whether as an Operator or as a Member of an Operator's workspace, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and you must meet the minimum marriageable age recognized under the personal law that applies to you. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and belongs to you (or, where you are creating a profile on someone else's behalf with their knowledge and consent, that you are authorized to do so).

3. Accounts and Registration

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Operators are responsible for the access they grant their own staff — tenant admins, support agents, and similar roles — within their workspace. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, tell us immediately at support@matrilyze.com.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Matrilyze, whether as an Operator or a Member, to:

• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, marital status, or any other profile detail;
• harass, threaten, defraud, or solicit money, gifts, or sensitive information from another user;
• post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access another tenant's data or the platform's systems without authorization;
• circumvent rate limits, entitlement checks, or other technical controls;
• interfere with the platform's operation, security, or availability for other Operators or Members;
• use the platform for any purpose other than matrimony matchmaking, including dating, solicitation, or commercial advertising unrelated to matchmaking.

We may investigate suspected violations and take action ranging from a warning to suspending or terminating the account involved.

5. Your Content

You keep ownership of the profile information, photographs, and other content you submit. By submitting it, you grant the Operator's workspace, and Tyfonic Systems as its infrastructure provider, a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content as needed to run the matching, search, and communication features you use. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, including sensitive fields like religion, community, and other eligibility-related details an Operator's workspace may ask for.

6. Profile Verification

Some workspaces offer optional profile verification or eligibility-rule features. These tools are meant to help Operators and Members assess a profile with more confidence — they are not a background check, and neither Matrilyze nor the Operator guarantees the identity, marital status, intentions, or any other attribute of any user, verified or not. Use your own judgment, and take sensible precautions, before sharing personal information with, or meeting, anyone you connect with through the platform.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Some features, for Operators and for Members within a workspace, require a paid subscription. Prices, billing terms, and renewal cycles are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing term unless you cancel before renewal. Fees are processed through our third-party payment gateway and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase. If a scheduled plan change or renewal is cancelled before it takes effect, no further charge will be made for it, but amounts already paid remain non-refundable under this section.

8. Intellectual Property

Matrilyze — including its software, design, and underlying technology — is owned by Tyfonic Systems and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the platform to you. Operators receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the platform to run their workspace for as long as their subscription is active.

9. Third-Party Services

The platform may link to, or integrate with, third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS or WhatsApp providers, or verification services. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that any match, introduction, or interaction facilitated through it will lead to any particular outcome.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tyfonic Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform — including from any interaction, introduction, or transaction between Members that occurs through a workspace. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Tyfonic Systems harmless from any claim, loss, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third party's rights.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform, in whole or for a specific workspace or account, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, to comply with the law, or to protect the platform or its users. Operators may close their own workspace at any time; Members may deactivate their account from their workspace's settings or by contacting the Operator. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will continue to apply after your account is closed.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply in your location, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform. Before filing a claim, we encourage you to contact us at support@matrilyze.com so we can try to resolve it directly.

15. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address complaints about content or conduct on the platform.

16. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or power outages, government action, or failures of a third-party service we rely on.

17. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the platform, and supersede any earlier agreement on the same subject.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date shown at the top of this page whenever we do, and for material changes we will give you additional notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
